I've previously gone into some detail on why I think this item does not make good comparative material for anything. I guess I should have done that here. Second-best is noting for advisement of future editors to look for doubts about its genuineness in the sources. This may seem minor but Joseph Naveh's otherwise good (and probably influential?) paper "Development of Aramaic Script" accepts it without question and places it extremely early. This can lead to big problems in greater scholarship. Temerarius (talk) 16:36, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
