Merging

[edit]

Merging some or all of Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar and this article was proposed at Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2007 March 14. As the discussion closer there, I open the discussion here, having no opinion myself. GRBerry 18:55, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Name How did they get it?

[edit]

I can't believe nobody has mentioned this. I am still think and wondering, how did they get there name? It seems like there is nothing Canadian about this company so why are they secretly Canadian? Or is it a joke about Canadians? If it is it would be hard to guess it without having a longer name referencing the joke. If anybody knows this I would be really glad to know —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.31.254 (talk) 03:28, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ben Swanson and his brother are from Fargo, ND and its related to that being close to Canada. I can't remember the exact story but I remember Ben telling me about it back in 1996 and it was something to that effect. Can't believe that I was around right there at the beginning. Disclosing COI

[edit]

I'm very familiar with Secretly Group and Secretly Canadian. I plan to update some information here since I've noticed inconsistencies between this and information that has been published or can easily be found on the company websites. Plus they've grown a lot, so generally it looks like most of this info is outdated.

I will do my best to be as objective as I possibly can be and I will cite everything! If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I'm happy to discuss anything that I may have cited incorrectly or generally seems incorrect.

Appreciate all feedback. Thanks! --SecretlyRAG (talk) 19:55, 8 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
