The picture claims to be from 1964. He'd be 33-34 then. It sure doesn't look like the photo of a 34 yr old. Would someone verify the date it was taken? (I'd guess 1970-75 (or even later), but skin-aging varies by exposure as well as health, diet, and genetics...so maybe.) Thanks!40.142.176.185 (talk) 01:23, 18 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

No mention is made of Giovanna "Gigi" Connery. She was Diane Cilento's daughter from her first marriage to Volpe, but Gigi took Connery's surname, all of her children use it, and they are regularly referred to in the press as Connery's grandchildren. Is there some reason for it not being included here, or is this just a huge oversight? Thomaspashko (talk) 04:56, 5 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sean was a QUARTER Irish ethnicity, not half-Irish as claimed in part of his early life section. A later paragraph confirms this - he had two great-grandparents who came from Ireland, the other six great grandparents were Scottish. I have already tried to change his bio to show this, but someone changed it back for some reason. 2A00:23C7:5034:B901:68AD:4071:B67A:F815 (talk) 10:18, 9 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
You are right, he was only a quarter Irish. His father being half Irish, the other half Scottish (McNab). The maternal side are all Scots.

Why is it that when a British celebrity (mainly non Scots) has a history of supporting UK unity, there's a big thing made about it on Wikipedia... Yet when an indy supporter (whether Scottish or not) it's barely mentioned? Yes Sean was a supporter of the SNP, but it's well hidden in his personal life section. If you're going to go on about the pro union opinion of celebrities who didn't even have a vote, as much should be made of those who support independence...
