Very narrow definition
[edit]This article seems totally focused on domestic cat scratching posts, to the point that no other applications are mentioned, yet I followed a link from Georgia Guidestones describing cattle using the structure as an ad hoc scratching post. Other animals are known to rub themselves on trees. It would seem there is a more general notion for scratching posts that is unrepresented here. Chabala (talk) 05:02, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
