Mughal time use

Brunton The logic of reverting the section and matter seems to be dissatisfactory. Mughal time use will make the content better. It deserves a place in this article. And i will appreciate if you can help me to adjust an image along.

Sashes have been commonly used as regalia. We shouldn’t have a separate section for every particular example. If this is to be included, we need sourced information showing that this particular use of a sash is especially significant, or it could perhaps be used as an example in a section about the use of sashes as royal or aristocratic regalia generally. Incidentally, your illustration seems to show everyone wearing a sash, not just the emperor. Was a sash just a common element of Mughal clothing? Brunton (talk) 08:24, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Brunton Don't you underestimate the Mughal clothing? Mughals' use of sash deserves a place in the article may not be a separate section, but we can mention it in use. Some sources are proving it. WP: V. For Image we can find another.

Patka, a long decorative cloth tied elegantly several times round the waist is an essential part of the Mughal attire. The sash is tied is such a fashion that its decorative ends are displayed in the front. It had a functional use as well. It held a dagger, thrust into its folds at an easily manouverable angle.

Merger proposal

Per a discussion on Talk:Presidential sash, I'm proposing that the article presidential sash be merged to here. The page has a whopping six sentences (all unsourced) that could easily fit here.
