Page move

[edit]

I moved the page to Sangramaraja without diacritics. The name is spelt in HISTRS without them.

"Samgramaraja" would be a literal transliteration. But "Sangramaraja" is how it is pronounced (just like we write "Shankar", not "Shamkar"). Both the spellings are found in HISTRS. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 10:10, 22 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Khasa

[edit]

@Imperial khasah: It appears that you merely searched for and added random books from Google Books that is not how we determine acceptable sources. They have to be compliant with the WP:RELIABLESOURCES and WP:HISTRS English Wikipedia policies, i.e. should be by known historians and academic publishers. Most of the sources you added weren't, only Rajatarangini by Motilal Banarsidass appears okayish and I retained it, you also added the presposterous word "race" to a history article which is simply unacceptable and sources using it should be forthright discarded.

You should also know that WP:ETHNICITY WP:POVPUSH is not acceptable as well (with regards to Khasas in your case). And repeatedly reverting other editors without giving any reason or leaving an WP:EDITSUMMARY is a serious breach of WP:EDITWARRING. Gotitbro (talk) 10:31, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
