This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I am currently in the process of updating the content and providing more substance about this individual's contributions and impact to the discipline of communication. She is a prominent scholar with a number of publications, and has had a profound impact on the study of interpersonal relationships. This site is a work in progress.
WP:N explains the usual inclusion criterion for pages within Wikipedia, Wikipedia:Notability (academics) is a specialised guideline for biographies of professors. While this article doesn't quite meet the criterion requested for it's speedy deletion, at the moment, a deletion discussion would very likely result in it's deletion, unless more sources are added.
