Merge proposal
[edit]Sampler (record) is a better article than Sampler album, but I like that title better. Does anybody else have an opinion? -Freekee 05:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- So, just copy the things from Sampler (record) into Sambler Album. I agree with you, sampler album sounds better and sampler (record) is more dysambiguated. Violask81976 00:55, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

- This article is about a type of albums which are called "samplers"; but there is already a page Sampler (album) which is about one album which has the name Sampler ("Sampler is a compilation album by the English rock band Cardiacs, released in 1995. ...") - Support alt. move to Sampler album. Convention (I believe) is to use format like "Sampler (album)" for albums entitled "Sampler" - so, alt suggestion is preferable.
