This person does not appear to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Based upon a recent search, it does not appear this person has achieved notable coverage in the literature. This physician appears to be an accomplished physician but does not appear that he made a notable discovery or development and I am unable to locate an associated eponym. I agree, there is a lack of significant coverage of this topic (WP:SIGCOV). While the sources are reliable, they only contain trivial mentions of the researcher. While he is clearly a distinguished researcher, this is not enough to establish notability and additional sources are needed. For now I am adding a notability tag. I think the previous issues still stand with a lack of significant coverage under WP:GNG. It may be notable under WP:NPROF, but I believe a strong publication record is not enough.
