it states that he captained India but I feel this is implying that his whole career, he was captaining India. This is not true as he only captained around 1996-97. Please remove this or state that he was a prolific Indian batter 2601:441:8480:4710:BD94:7FD1:E824:1294 (talk) 01:33, 31 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done: I don't read it the same way, I think it's clear enough as is. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 13:01, 20 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

It has been mentioned that Tendulkar's performance at Rajya shaba is described as worst citing attendance. Though he hasn't participated in debates and attendance he is among the top two people to spend all the money allocated for him to useful purposes. You can read further in the below link. Let us not call the performance of a person who has given back to the nation over the period of 6 years without any salary. I request the editors to change this and add his achievement.

Description of the use of funds could be added, if you provide some text.
The attendance text should remain, since it is sourced and clearly described (it doesn't say he is the worst representative in general, just that he has the worst attendance). LizardJr8 (talk) 16:34, 8 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
Not done: His attendance record and the existence of criticism resulting from that are statements of fact which are supported by reliable sources. Personal opinions as to his overall contributions to the nation are not grounds to delete such content. The next subsection already mentions his use of funds. in Born column city name shows as Bombay, which should be Mumbai ~2026-60358-5 (talk) 09:53, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done The city was still known as Bombay at the time of his birth, and it's en.wiki consensus to use the name of places at the time relevant to them being mentioned. It would be correct to use Mumbai in the article for anything that happened there after 1995. Spike 'em (talk) 10:15, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
