The two quotes

[edit]

A lot of English translations of Iranian poetry are more loose paraphrases than real translations - hence I am slightly worried that the two major quotes are actually two translations of the same poem. Can someone knowledgable re-assure me? Refdoc 22:47, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)

You are correct Refdoc, it seems to be two different translations of the same poem. I dont know what we should do to clean it up though. :) --Zereshk 01:34, 7 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Disambig

[edit]

There exist 4 or 5 articles with Saadi in their title. I'll created a a Saadi disambig page in order to manage that. This article will become Saadi (poet). -- Szvest 15:02, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Saadi not medieval

[edit]

The Saadi were not a medieval dynasty. Al Mansour was a pen friend of Elizabeth I. S710 08:55, 2 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
