Calibre

[edit]

I'm not sure of caliber 55mm. It is always quoted as 57mm rocket.. Pibwl 22:23, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I think I've tracked it down. Jane's mentions it in Jane's Air Launched Weapons Issue 36. It still seems a little wierd though. Megapixie 14:00, 10 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Correction to my previous post: not always. In a Polish book about military rockets from the 70s, although it didn't give any details about Soviet top secret weapons, but it is quoted as 55 mm rocket. Pibwl « 21:40, 21 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

S-5 vs. Qassam

[edit]

The article currently says the S-5 is less precise than a Qassam rocket but has more explosives. That claim is sourced to an archived news article. but I think it is wrong. For one, Qassam rocket lists its warhead at 1.5-10 Kg, whereas the S-5 is 0.8-1.8Kg, so smaller. For another , the Qassam is unguided and imprecise. I think the claim should be removed even though it has a source. Kentucky Rain24 (talk) 13:34, 17 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
