Apparent deficiency of the rules given for German

I am no expert, but the rules given in the section "German" do not appear to work in all cases. As just one example, my understanding is that versagen could be either [fɛɐ̯ˈzaːɡn̩] or [fɛɐ̯ˈsaːɡŋ̩] depending on dialect. 166.181.86.208 (talk) 05:16, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

I think the IP editor is concerned that the template in use produces a grammar error ("redirects" instead of "redirect", when there are three items listed). But I'm not sure if changing to Template:self-reference is the best way to fix this. Day Creature (talk) 22:06, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
