The maths is vital for a good understanding of the effect. I think it should stay, without it the page is little more than a description of the effect rather than an explanation of how the effect works.Cadmium 22:15, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
I think it should stay where it is, its under the category page, and if you dont know what you're looking for you can still find it, if it were merged it would be lost - those that knew of it wouldn't need to find it.
