Other languages in Cyrillic?

- No. I have documentation from Yugoslavia - it was still in existence when this Unesco report came out - on Serbo-Croation and Macedonian, and while many letters have the same Braille representation, several do not (like Ч - ⠟ vs. ⠡), and a given braille cell (like ⠚) can represent different letters, like Ж vs. Ј, where Ж is ⠮. So no, I know it only to be valid for Russian, although I wouldn't be surprised if it were good for other Soviet Union languages. VanIsaacWScontribs 03:13, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- That is good facts. Still ... I am expecting that this basic Cyrillic set is used more widely, outside of Russian language. I cannot accept that 24 Slavic & USSR-neighbouring languages do not use these Cyrillic script codes. -DePiep (talk) 20:55, 26 April 2012 (UTC)
Anarendil (talk) 13:27, 29 January 2013 (UTC) This same code is used, for instance, in Ukrainian and Belarusian, except that there are more letters such as і, ї, є, ґ (in Ukrainian), and і and ў (in Belarusian). Anarendil (talk) 00:27, 30 January 2013 (UTC) P.S. And the capital sign is dots 4-5, not 4-6 or 6. This is in Ukrainian and Belarusian, as well as in Russian.
