This is the wrong Hoffmann?

German Wikipedia doesn't list this Hoffmann as the perpetrator of the Pančevo Massacre. That Rudolf Hoffmann was a SS-Sturmbannführer with 2.SS-Panzerdivision "Das Reich." He was a show trial legal officer - Divisionstabsrichter (Division Military Judge) with the Reich Feldgericht (Reich Field Military Court) from 2 April 1941 until 23 August 1941.

This Rudolf Hoffmann is a Heer officer, not SS, and according to his biography at generals.dk he wasn't in Yugoslavia at the time of the massacre. Scotisle (talk) 08:06, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
