Cause

[edit]

As far as I know, Rubulavirus is not a causative agent of smallpox; smallpox is/was caused by Variolavirus of Poxviridae family. Measles aren't caused by Rubulavirus either, but by a related virus from the Morbillivirus genus of Paramyxoviridae family. EerieNight (talk) 16:45, 16 August 2008 (UTC)"Reply

I will help out by reviewing this article in the next months. Writing a paper about Rubula, so... should be able to add evidence based info. Greetz, Dr. F.C. Turner - [USERPAGE|USERTALK] - 09:50, 25 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
The original editor here is correct. Rubulavirus is a genus of paramyxoviruses none of which cause either smallpox or measles.DrMicro (talk) 13:06, 21 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
