@Waryklingon: - Quite shocked that this article is so basic and limited, compared to those detailed articles discussing the Crossover and Straight-Through Ethernet Cable concepts.. Why no diagram, drawing, or photograph here demonstrating a sample (Ethernet / RJ45 / 8P8C) Rollover_cable's pinout, i.e. showing that the eight (8) wires (4 pairs) (or however many, it doesn't matter) merely change from 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 to the other end being crimped as: 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1?
