Contesting speedy deletion

I'm a little annoyed that the speedy deletion tag was placed on the article while I was still writing it!

I think someone who was for decades the chairman of a banking corporation with $179 million in assets, and the father of a notable punk rock figure, is himself notable. He is redlinked both on the Dart Container page and on the Doc Corbin Dart page, and I thought it would be good to fill in that gap.

I'm also planning to do an article on Dart National Bank, which I believe is redlinked in several other articles. Kestenbaum 00:13, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

• Notability is not inherited. Being related to someone notable, or part of a notable company (even chairman) does not nessecarily make the person notable. However, in this case he probably is notable under WP:BIO, you need to add reliable sources demonstrating his independant notability, rather than just notability associated with other figures.
