PLEASE do not delete this article!

[edit]

There are untold thousands of people alive today because of Rod Machado's numerous publications (e.g. articles in AOPA Pilot magazine) and lectures. Rod Machado turned us onto early aviation authors such as Robert Buck and Wolfgang Langewiesche whose seminal books are more important and relevant than ever before. It is a holy tradition of flight instructors. (The Pilot Debrief channel on YouTube shows endless examples of the degradation that is occurring now with corner-cutting all too common and with the supply of pilots unable to keep up with demand.) Rod deserves to be remembered as a part of this tradition.  Preceding unsigned comment added by CousinJohn (talkcontribs) 09:05, 6 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
