I note that this is only in reference to a NZ lizard. In Australia there is also a Robust Skink which is very common. I have a photo available, but know very little about them at this stage. The identity of the lizard was confirmed by two others who know a lot about lizards. I'm happy to provide the photo should anyone like to see it. Ginge1420 (talk) 16:17, 7 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

I believe the Australian Robust Skink is the species Ctenotus robustus and therefore the image used in this article is a different species to the New Zealand Robust Skink Oligosoma alani. I've therefore deleted the image and will attempt to find a replacement.Ambrosia10 (talk) 09:01, 6 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
