I have disclosed my conflict of interest on my user page and have substantially rewritten the draft using institutional sources. Nelson's works are documented in the collections of the National Gallery of Art, North Carolina Museum of Art, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Blanton Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Rourke Art Gallery + Museum. He also participated in the Museum of Modern Art's 1962 exhibition Recent Painting U.S.A.: The Figure. These records appear relevant to the creative-professional criterion at WP:ARTIST, particularly the criterion concerning representation in the permanent collections of several notable museums. I welcome an independent review of the revised sourcing and draft. Karen Anderer (talk) 19:30, 11 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
