It looks like the infobox breeding plumage photo has been changed a few times. Figured I'd open a talk page thread to figure it out. To me, A is clearly the least desirable, being taken from above with an awkward crop. C is a lovely photo, but since the bird is facing away and looking back, IMO it doesn't reflect the bulky proportions. My preference is for B (which is one that I took, to be clear), as a crisp straight-on shot. But I'm not big on restoring a photo that I took when someone else has contested it. @Rhododendrites thanks! My preference is for C, as it is looking into the page, has a nice relaxed pose, wing details in clear view, evenly lit, and in full breeding plumage. Both A and B I think are a mite over-contrasted by harsh light, burnt out on the breast by bright sun and the wings dark in shadow (A more so than B). Yes, A is too tight a crop to look good, and is also winter plumage. B, the other thing I find a bit odd about it, is the slightly ungainly startled look it has, neck stretched up and looking as though it's trying to jerk its head away?
