How do I resolve that Copy Violation? I was just asserting the projects Mr. Stover has done in which makes him very notable. I was advised by a previous admin who deleted the post that I should do more research on his involvement in seawater desalination and these are the things I found. --Basherr (talk) 10:25, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but the stuff you found you didn't write, you copied wholesale from other websites. You need to remove the material you took from copyrighted locations; I find google searching sentences helps. Remove the info that violates the copyright, and if the material still there establishes notability then the article will be kept. Ironholds 10:27, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I will remove that portion at once and have you evaluate the article. --Basherr (talk) 10:30, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Excellent :). It's nice to have a nice and responsible contributor for once! Normally when there's a situation like this the editor refuses to help out :). If you need any help contributing in future or whatnot feel free to leave me a message on my talk page at any time :). Ironholds 10:33, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much, I will hold you up to it possibly =) --Basherr (talk) 10:36, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've removed a little bit of copyvio that was left over. I'd advise scrapping the "project involvement" section and work on neatening up the biography; I can help if you so wish. Ironholds 10:38, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do, I just thought putting much on his involvement in the industry on seawater desalination will help in his notability to which his project involvement proves by. --Basherr (talk) 10:42, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Again thanks. If you can point me to the right direction on improving the article more, let me know. --Basherr (talk) 10:55, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'll be working on it myself, but if you could look at WP:MoS to see how articles should be set out i'm sure you'll find it helpful in the future. I'm going to take a quick 15 minutes to play the guitar and i'll then be back to help with your page :). Ironholds 10:57, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am actually working with a fellow admin with the article name User:Ironholds , anything that you want to add up? --Basherr (talk) 13:21, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm not an admin, haha. I dont know why people keep assuming that. Regardless, another editor is perfectly permitted to nominate an article for deletion if they so wish regardless of who is involved. Ironholds 13:29, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the misconception, and thanks for giving me/us more time to validate this post. I believe I got the correct resources already, just need to rewrite them well. --Basherr (talk) 01:32, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Isobaric Energy Recovery Devices

[edit]

It sure would help if this or better yet a related article described how Isobaric Energy Recovery Devices work. http://www.energyrecovery.com/sites/default/files/pxpage.png (which is at http://www.energyrecovery.com/px-pressure-exchanger-energy-recovery-devices) explains what they are, but even with the cutaway, they're essentially a black box. Can someone disclose the relevant patent numbers? http://www.energyrecovery.com/search/node/patent doesn't help.--Elvey (talk) 03:22, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Deletion

[edit]

I don't have the energy to begin the process right now, but this should - I think pretty obviously - be deleted. It reads like really sanguine self-promotion and there's not really any indication this guy is of any relevance. There's a whole deeply technical discussion above about the legitimacy of the content, but... come on. This is half puff piece, half resume. TomboyCyan (talk) 19:05, 19 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
