This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because <Grusin (along with co-author Jay David Bolter, who has his own Wiki page) is responsible for the new media theory of Remediation, which is a pretty big deal to media scholars and the article clearly explains the book the theory originated in and why it's important.
