This article, and several other fan-palm articles contains the phrase (Arecaceae tribe Corypheae). This informs the reader that theses plants are a part of a particular tribe called Corypheae i.e. fan palm. While I don't object to that particular information, I do think there is a redundancy in also including Arecaceae i.e palm. It's saying, in the middle of a palm tree article, that these are (Palms tribe Fan Palms). Including the tribe name seems like enough information, reiterating that they are palms doesn't seem necessary.Mmcknight4 00:17, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
