Rewrite Needed

[edit]

This page needs expanding and rewriting. I am not medically knowledgable enough to do so, but based on other sources, e.g. http://www.wisegeekhealth.com/what-causes-a-retroperitoneal-hematoma.htm it is obvious that, for example, one of the main causes is blunt trauma to the lower abdomen. Hi Jpedant! Since your comment, referenced information on traffic collisions and falls has been added. I hope this is helpful! Bibeyjj (talk) 14:15, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
As a medical doctor I have to agree with the first poster. Not only is this page short, but to suggest MRI as first imaging modality over a CT in a trauma situation is medically dangerous. I suspect a summary of Oh's Intensive Care Manual would go wonders to make it less incorrect.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.172.96.178 (talk) 11:25, 13 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
