Are 'police powers' = reserved powers in the United States?
[edit]Is 'Education' and the right to define educational systems, reserved to the states, a police power? If not, that final paragraph needs to be fundamentally reconstructed and rewritten. I challenge the equation of reserved powers and police powers. Some police powers may be reserved powers, but are all reserved powers equal to police powers? - According to the first result on Google, Nolo's Plain-English Law Dictionary, police powers are "the fundamental right of a government to make all necessary laws." This is not reserve powers, as reserve powers are an entity's powers to deal with issues not covered by law. So the sentence you pointed out is indeed, as you suspected, incorrect.
