So, what is a movie "reflex" camera? e.g. what makes an "Arriflex" a "reflex"?

Also, I think "reflex" needs to be on a disambiguation page. Currently "reflex" leads to the muscle reaction with no way to get here. Jeh 23:04, 17 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Inversion of the image?

I came here to find out whether the image on the top of a reflex camera held at waist level would be inverted. I'm now guessing the lens inverts it and the mirror makes it upright: then is it left-right flipped? This needs to make that clear, and also how the pentaprism turns the image upright. --Hugh7 (talk) 10:30, 7 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
