Conversion factors

Would it be alright to add some direct conversion factors for energy to this page? That is, assuming wavenumbers of light? It's why I came to this page and it seems likely to be useful for many people who would be looking for this page. EtzHadaat (talk) 16:40, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Content of section "Measure of Energy"

It appears that the last few edits changed the meaning of the section without a citation. In addition, some of the information in the present version seems to be wrong or contradictory. X5163x (talk) 07:18, 21 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

You're entirely correct, and the required change has been made. As the example now illustrates, the energy of a photon with 5 m wavelength is one-fifth that of a photon with 1 m wavelength. A.R. (talk) 01:30, 22 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Relation between reciprocal centimetres and inverse of 1 cm in the natural units should be discussed. In the natural units (with ), is (conversion based on Particle Data Group), which differs by a factor of fro the value provided in the text.
