Editors who have worked on the article - are all the references needed? For instance, the third paragraph in the section "Architectural practice" has nine refs for four sentences. Can they be cut down to those which are reliable secondary sources? So, for instance, removing the three of these which are primary sources. Notable projects has 24 references - this seems excessive to verify ten projects. Tacyarg (talk) 15:51, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
The number, quality, and placement of the references needs work (e.g., the "Notable projects" and "Publications" sections both contain rather extraordinary strings of citations that could probably be trimmed and also placed adjacent to relevant text). -- Cl3phact0 (talk) 20:03, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate the feedback on citation placement. You're right, I've felt more comfortable placing a set of citations after short paragraphs. For discursive topics, I found it easier to justify a group of sentences rather than citing each concept individually.
About projects and publications specifically, I chose to keep the citation style consistent. That was likely a bad call, according to what you pointed out. Niccolissoni (talk) 19:26, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I went a bit overboard with citations. I probably suffered from "find references" sickness, so I went for melius abundare quam deficere. I'll definitely look into cutting those down later.
One quick question: for publications specifically, is it best to use a secondary source that establishes the publication's existence and authority or to cite the publication itself with all the details (title, authors, year, publisher...)? I understand the priority on secondary sources, but in the specific case of publications, I feel the possibility to list details and codes as a good option.
