Requested updates from article subject

[edit source]

Hello. I am Radek Bukowski, the subject of this article. I have a conflict of interest, so I am requesting these changes here rather than editing the article myself.

1. Please amend "From 2016 to 2023, he held the position of professor in the department of Women's Health at the University of Texas at Austin" to read: "From 2016 to 2023, he held the position of professor and Associate Chair for Investigation and Discovery in the Department of Women's Health at Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin."

2. Please add: "Bukowski is an affiliate faculty member of the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, and a faculty member of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine (CCAIM) in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, where he is also an Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow."

3. The article describes the cesarean-prediction patent as a pending application. It was granted on 10 February 2026 as U.S. Patent No. 12,548,679, "Individual Optimal Mode of Delivery," with co-inventor Karl Schulz, assigned to the Board of Regents of the University of Texas System. Please update the sentence accordingly.

4. The Education section omits my training in Norfolk, Virginia. Please add after the sentence on the Ph.D.: "He also received postdoctoral training in reproductive endocrinology at the Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia, and completed a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School."

5. Please add: "In 2020 he was appointed Associate Editor for Computational Medicine at the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology."
