Is the disk array link redundant given that RAID is already linked? Not sure since I'm not familiar with the technology. — Awesomecat / / / 06:40, 3 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

I would argue that both links are of value to the reader. Disk array is a hypernym of RAID, and both are relevant to the definition of the headword. Meanwhile, the nature of the topic is hidden behind the opaque acronym RAID; disk array elucidates it. As for linking the term and not just using it: It's unsafe to assume that all readers know the meaning of a technical term like disk array.
