Duplicate citations?
[edit source]Hi! I noticed quite a few duplicate/copied citations. For instance, the text Christmann, Andreas (2009). The Qurʾan, Morality and Critical Reason: The Essential Muhammad Shahrur
appears six times without any apparent deviation, like a page number or a quote. Could someone either merge these ref calls or add something distinguishing? Thanks! - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 15:21, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- @Skelatorr Also, there are way too many links. For instance, the term Hadith does not need to be linked every single time. I'm going to be bold and remove what I have to - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 12:40, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- ah okay thank you
- i thought every term must be linked, because the reader will only read the sections he wants..
- thank you for the feedback Skelatorr (talk) 13:42, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- You're welcome! If you're curious, I'm referring to MOS:OVERLINK :) - OpalYosutebito 『talk』 『articles I want to eat』 13:48, 5 August 2026 (UTC)

Citations and sources
[edit source]@Skelatorr: can you please read WP:REFSECTION and implement it in this article? You can have one section for Citation notes, and then a works cited. It would be helpful if you divided the works cited by journals and books in one section, and internet articles in another. You can ask at WP:TEAHOUSE if you want help. Right now, the citations are pretty hard to find
Also, you sometimes cite a book but do not give the page number. Per WP:Verifiability, this is not really acceptable, and you should cite specific page(s) instead. HerrHeulsuse (talk) 15:54, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
