A few years ago, scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory used what was then one of the world’s most powerful computers, the so-called Q Machine, to model the effects of the impact.

It appears the machine called the ASCI Q machine and so I added a link to it from this article. The ASCI Q machine computer was the world's second fastest computer in the June 2003 and November 2003 TOP500 list. --Marc Kupper|talk 07:41, 6 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
