Etymology

Continuation of Lat. podium, yes, and cognate with Cat. puig and It. poggio. But why "The word derives from the Provençal puech" rather than simply listing puech as another cognate? The derivation makes very little phonological sense, whereas podium > puy is quite plausible. 75.134.23.211 ([[Use
