Pusha TPusha-T – This article has the person nicknamed "Pusha T". However, there's a debate whether the nickname should have a hyphen between the words. It would make it "Pusha-T". Do you think a hyphen should be added or not? INeedSupport (talk) 02:34, 24 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Comment as nominator: The only problem I see with this is with the image, which has "Pusha T" in its file name. INeedSupport (talk) 02:35, 24 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
File names need not comply with the article name or get moved along with the article. —C.Fred (talk) 12:06, 26 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per MOS:TM: We do not adopt unnecessary stylization from logos and other marketing materials unless sources do so with nearly uniform consistency for the case at hand. Yet – even in the entertainment press which is basically hardcore addicted to mimicry of logos, for more so than any other genre – the most common written version of this name in sources is "Pusha T". The hyphen doesn't even make any grammatical sense. It's a noun (the intial T for Terrence or perhaps Thornton), preceded by a descriptive modifier, (pusher, in a slang sense). E.g., myself, the editor SMcCandlish, could be similarly nicknamed as Edita S. There's no room for a hyphen there.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  23:01, 24 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose in most sources there is no hyphen, incl. his profiles at Billboard , Spotify , his YouTube page , his Facebook page , Metacritic and so on. 2Flows (talk) 22:07, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose As 2Flows said, most major sources have him named as "Pusha T". I see no reason to name him "Pusha-T". Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 22:50, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose His own website, Soundcloud, YouTube, and official Facebook exclude the hyphen. It seems it's a returning stylization. Worth noting, but not worth moving for, at least not until it's more commonly implemented. Sock (tock talk) 03:08, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – "there's debate" is not a sensible move rationale. Dicklyon (talk) 06:21, 30 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Album page for "It's Almost Dry"

[edit]

Can we please make a page for his new album? It's pretty popular, has been spoken about it in various circles, has been trending on Twitter for quite some time. I feel like it merits it's own page.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Ackner2 (talkcontribs) 08:51, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

nominate her for a good article

[edit]

I don't know if this is a good place to say this, but I think that after noticing the article, I think it meets many of the criteria for a good article (cites references, direct, contains images, among other things) Televisão quebrada (talk) 19:10, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Recent Epstein Scandal

[edit]

Should the recent release of the Epstein Files with Pusha T with alleged acts on a file be added here? Wobs100 (talk) 04:48, 1 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

While allegations of the sort should be taken seriously, anonymous FBI tip lines are not an end-all-be-all for including details. The backlash to Pusha T online and in media was short-lived and gave way to no legal or civil adjudication. OrtholadBrandon (talk) 22:14, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Understandable, It has lucky been writen in a mostly neutral fashion. Though I don't mind if it is worded more neutrally. Wobs100 (talk) 22:16, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
