Vernacular names

[edit]

In Brunei, it is called maritam. This is denoted in Kamus Bahasa Melayu Brunei ('Brunei Malay Language Dictionary'; ISBN: 9991705430), which is the main dictionary for Brunei Malay language published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Brunei. Zulfadli51 (talk) 10:19, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

In Kalimantan, it is also called maritam. Several blogs mention of this term, among them (in Indonesian):

rambutan

[edit]

The seed of the rambutan is also edible, no preparation required. Drsruli (talk) 05:19, 24 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
