[edit]

Should we expand this article to include current Holy See usage of pro-secretaries, pro-prefects, pro-nuncios, etc? Gentgeen 05:36, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I would say no. Such a person is not a promagistrate, but rather a person who holds an office with the prefix "pro-" slapped to the front. Ifly6 (talk) 04:46, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Merge with prorogatio

[edit]

This article is mostly duplicatory and should be merged with prorogatio. The title promagistrate is probably more common than the Latin term, which will probably lead to its retention here. I will probably start on the merge next week some time after completing some rewrites for Cato the Younger. Ifly6 (talk) 23:08, 18 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Done. Ifly6 (talk) 04:44, 19 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
