No subject

I have thought of this considerably as a deaf writer that needs a better communication system. (I talk just don't hear.) However I was thinking more along the lines of speech recognition as a tool for pocket sized help. (you talk I read)seems more considerate of everyones needs. Hologram

I don't think the projected image is actually a hologram. Projected holograms, AFAIK, are a very recent invention (last couple of years), and even then there's a bit of a trick to it. I'm thinking of the horribly expensive ones used famously in the stage shows of some singer or other.

Isn't the beamed image just a simple flat projection? The correct word would be something like "image" or "projection" over "hologram". Tho I haven't seen one of these in person so I can't say conclusively.

'It' should be 'some', since BT wasn't even invented in 1990's. ~~

What was the first projection keyboard on the market? it's quite important info. History section is quite poor.
