How does Rocky's dialog read in the print version?

I have the audiobook and Eridian speech is modulated through a series of chords. Sounds a bit like "Harder Faster Stronger" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAjR4_CbPpQ

Now I wonder what it looks like in the print-version of the book. I assume it looks differently to normal text. Can someone please confirm? It would be a quirky addition to the article, if - when true - was a sample.

error: "coma-resistant genes"

The section "Before Launch" states that potential astronauts are restricted to people with "coma-resistant genes". This should be changed to "coma-resistance genes". "Coma-resistant genes" means the genes themselves are resistant to coma. However, the intended meaning is that these genes provide the person who possesses them with coma resistance - i.e. "coma-resistance genes". Aerinah (talk) 18:48, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

From the "Production" section:

In a profile in The New York Times, Weir says that after completing The Martian, he began a multi-volume space opera called Zhek, which was about a substance that could absorb electromagnetic radiation and use it as a fuel for interstellar travel. He wrote 75,000 words before abandoning the project and beginning on Artemis.

Can we not have the very first few sentences spoil the book?

Hey. I was researching the author, because I was reading this book, and clicked into this article and let my guard drop for like, 0.2 seconds and read a big honking spoiler. Why? This seems to be a common thing with book descriptions. You can describe things about the book without ruining it. Please edit it. Put any major plot reveals much further down the page. They needed more fuel

In the book it is said they need around two million kilograms to go from Earth to Tau Ceti. But that's how much you would need for a flyby. If you wanted to stop at Tau Ceti you would have to use more fuel to decelerate. Zetra83838 (talk) 15:29, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
