Location of Burial

[edit]

Where was Princess Ningguo likely buried? Was she interred in a specific imperial tomb complex, a separate princess's burial site, or alongside her husband, Mei Yin (despite the circumstances of his death)? AJMgirl (talk) 07:06, 10 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable, as shown by a source spot-check.
a (reference section): b (inline citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have non-free use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions and alt text):
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
  • Give the Chinese characters for Marquis Mei Sizu and female scholar Liu Shi.
  • "At the time, Li Wenzhong, the Emperor's nephew, headed the Imperial Academy, while Mei was appointed provincial educational commissioner of Shandong." Was Mei Yin's position as commissioner connected to the Imperial Academy?
  • In the paragraph discussing Mei Yin's death, there are several unclear sentences. With "Mei Yin was ambushed while crossing a bridge in Nanjing", was there anyone ambushing him other than Tan Shen and Zhao Xi? For the sentence "Although two officers initially reported that Mei Yin had taken his own life", does the source name the two officers who reported the death?
  • "In 1405, the Yongle Emperor elevated Princess Ningguo to Grand Princess Ningguo". Was this before or after Mei Yin’s death?
