How to meet swami ji
[edit]how to meet swami Premanand Ji Maharaj Talk 2405:201:5024:F026:E790:CA2A:C4F6:663D (talk) 03:28, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- To meet Premanand Ji Maharaj, you must come to Shrihit Radha Keli Kunj Sant Niwas at 09:30 am a day before and register your name. and this registration is absolutely free. After registration you can meet Maharaj Ji in Ekantik Vartalap, Ekantik Darshan, Kirtan, and Satsang. Dsrprj (talk) 16:32, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- Morning Schedule: Consider going on Parikrama early in the morning, particularly around the time when dawn approaches. This might be a more realistic chance to encounter him. Specific Locations: Some sources mention him being near Radha Keli Kunj on the Parikrama Marg [YouTube]. 2409:4052:6EB4:C385:61DE:B00C:121C:15ED (talk) 16:47, 8 August 2024 (UTC)

Kindly present the views in support of removing the "controversy" section from this page
[edit]Dear devotees, as you know it was not a direct controversy from Shri Premanand ji maharaj to pradeep mishraji, it was just an explanation regarding radha rani from him to the latter. The word "controversy" can never suit his description on this page. I here, seeking support of everyone to keep this great saint out of any controversy and maintain his page only as a source of knowledge and devotion.
- Remove controversy section
Amanver01 (talk) 15:51, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Per WP:NPOV, we will not treat any article or person with special status, everyone is same here, and Wikipedia is not censored. Also mentioning other editors as Devotee is not appropriate as the editors here come from all background. However, I do think that the section should either be renamed or the content under it be merged with some existing section by creating a sub-section. -ExclusiveEditor Notify Me! 18:00, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, it will be better though if merged or renamed either. Amanver01 (talk) 18:54, 11 August 2024 (UTC)

Section with non-encyclopedic content
[edit]@Bakhtar40 - I see that you had reverted a section that I had explained in summary as "remove not encyclopedic content - see WP:NOT". Before reverting it back, want your thoughts. I also want to say that the section reads like tabloid - please read Wikipedia:NOT and Wikipedia:SOAP. Asteramellus (talk) 00:56, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
- Dear Asteramellus, I read Wikipedia's Guidelines carefully and i added my opinion above regarding the removal of Controversy part. Bakhtar40 (talk) 08:12, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- I think it would better to discuss here since that other topic where you replied (instead of here) is a bit older and it will be easier to discuss here as one topic instead of 2 topics (and also easier for others to follow - I am thinking that we should get a 3O). I will move the replies from that topic here. Asteramellus (talk) 18:55, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- The controversy part is a true event and factual information backed with significant reliable sources. It is also a part swamiji's life. It should be there on the page. Bakhtar40 (talk) 08:09, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Bakhtar40 thanks - sorry, I missed seeing this topic earlier when I started the other new topic. As I mentioned in that other topic, the section content is not encyclopedic and reads like tabloid. e.g. "went viral on social media", "also expressed anger", "asked him to come to Barsana", "controversy that has been going on for the past several days " etc is not encyclopedic. I think reading WP:NOT and also e.g. WP:NOTNEWS will help clarify more. Asteramellus (talk) 01:28, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- Still i am not in favour of removing the 'Controversy part' but i think the heading should be renamed and content can be re-phrased. Bakhtar40 (talk) 06:51, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- As I have mentioned here, it seems that the content in this section is not encyclopedic. I will summarize briefly (without repeating what I have said above). From what I understand from reading the section, the seems the content is some local temporary news that got added in the article (viral content on social media as I mentioned above). It seems someone said something about "Radha Rani", which others considered it as untrue; it went viral and ended up in the news? I see that policies such as WP:NOTNEWS, WP:NOT and WP:SOAP should be reviewed before considering add such details. Also, I see that the section has details about another person ("Pradeep Mishra") - not clear what relevance is for that person's details on this article.
- Want to see your thoughts further - just because something "is a true event and factual information", if it is just routine news (e.g. see WP:NOTNEWS - "While news coverage can be useful source material for encyclopedic topics, most newsworthy events do not qualify for inclusion and Wikipedia is not written in news style.") or not relevant for the article (e.g. talking about some other person) it should not be included in the article. Asteramellus (talk) 19:29, 27 April 2025 (UTC)
- I requested a third opinion on this discussion. Asteramellus (talk) 00:24, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

| Do not include. This is a one-off news story without sustained coverage. Furthermore, there is no controversy since the source of the controversy admitted they were wrong and apologized. Closetside (talk) 19:46, 2 May 2025 (UTC) |
- Thanks for taking the time to read and give your third opinion here. Asteramellus (talk) 22:02, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
The article should not be an advertisement
[edit]Advertisements by followers of Premanand Govind Sharan.
It has been noticed that only positive side like an advertisement of this saint is shown on his page. While Wikipedia is not about advertising of someone's emotions. Wikipedia is same for all. So the controversies (pradeep mishra one or Premanand calling all girls impure or any such) should be openly added to this page provided that it is backed with a reference. Wikipedia is the hub of true knowledge and news. It will not work with the emotions of many editors here who are connected with Premanand otherwise my request for speedy deletion of this article as it currently not has much notability. It is just forcefully boosted up by his followers.
A major contributor is closely related to Premanand Govind Sharan and editing all pages linked such as Radha Vallabha Sampradaya, Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu, Premanand Govind Sharan, Radha etc. All these pages have been created and one sided positively edited just after coming of Premanand Govind Sharan. Some articles among these doesn't have enough notability and most og the sources provided on these pages are dead sources which don't justify things.
I have placed the tag COI due to this on the article. Ankeshav (talk) 12:55, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Ankeshav - I understand your approach, however, what do you suggest the article needs to make it more NPOV? What is within the article that is skewing it? Qalb alasid (talk) 03:33, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- yes exactly it should be NPOV rather than an advertisement and rather than only posting his good sides. I don't have any personal issues with him. But if controversies are there it should be posted at the article. There are many such controversies present. I request you to keep the COI tag present on all these articles including Radha Vallabha Sampradaya and Hith Harivansh Mahaprabhu and Radha articles.
- These articles are just advertisements done by some of his followers and there is a lot of unsourced information present in these articles and ive checked many of the sources which are dead and some have citation errors too, dead links.
- So my request is to keep the COI tag at the article and add the controversies sub section too in the article or whatever feels appropriate to you kindly.
- Thanks. Ankeshav (talk) 03:49, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Ankeshav As mentioned by the other editor, it would be helpful if you can point to specific detail that you think violates WP:NPOV. Positive content is not an "advertisement" if it is supported by WP:RS and is WP:DUE. Also, regarding controversies, the section Talk:Premanand_Govind_Sharan#Section_with_non-encyclopedic_content has some background details. Asteramellus (talk) 02:27, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
- Respected, a lot has been improved recently at this page like correction of honorific titles which was there at this page earlier 'Sri', 'Guruji', 'ji' and so on. I wanna request that someone add the controversies section too which will make it a proper NPOV. This specific thing of not showing his controversies here which are very famous on social media and only showing his features is the thing i felt somewhat a violation of WP:NPOV Otherwise i don't have any problem. You may do whatever feels appropriate to you further. Ill appreciate that. Thank you. Ankeshav (talk) 02:37, 22 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. WP:NOT may also help clarify some of your concerns - something that is "famous on social media" is not a reason to include it in an encyclopedia - content must be supported by WP:RS. Asteramellus (talk) 20:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

- @Dsrprj apologies for the earlier revert. I just wanna make sure that article is more NPOV and not like a positive style advertisement. Also it should has the controversies section and all notable parts of the life of this saint followed by necessary citations. Please.
- It needs to be edited and we can discuss here. So until we make a solution till that time i earlier placed the COI tag.
