Vagina is a potential space?

- Regarding normal functioning, I think the key word (which precedes that phrase in the article) is "usually". But both of the questions above could use more definitive answers, with WP:RS refs. Is a virtual space the same as a potential space?
[edit]I have seen "virtual space" used in a few places (Adhesion (medicine), https://radiologykey.com/peritoneal-cavity-and-gastrointestinal-tract/ and https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6328071/#:~:text=The%20peritoneal%20space%20is%20virtual,gastrointestinal%20fluids)%20or%20tumor%20invasion.) and it seems to mean the same, but I am not sure. If it is the same I think a mention of this in the lead would be appropriate, and also a redirect from Virtual space (medicine) to Potential space. (Virtual space redirects to Virtual reality.)
