I started this article years ago and I am very pleased with how it has been added to and corrected.

Julia's Palace ruins still exists. I was told that it was Augustus daughter that was banished to Ponza.

I was unaware of Julia Lavilla.

WOW!

As I said before, I am very happy with the progress with this article.

It is almost four years on.

I learned that then name Ponza goes back hundreds of years before Pontius Pilate as the name Pontia.

I found out that Ponza was mentioned by it's Greek name Aeaea in the Odyssey.

I learned about The Volsci. I learned about Julia's palace which was not built for the Julia that we all thought. I learned my ancestors abandoned the island due to Pirate raids.

I learned my cousin Biaggio started a botanical garden for endangered species of plants and flowers native to the Pontine Islands Archipelago.

I learned that I am in the Belvedere family.
