Peer review

[edit]

I've listed this article for peer review because I've been aware of the topic for quite a while but always figured it was undeserving of an article. However, after looking online, I found it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject (Even not counting the one article written by the owner of the land...) and I got a photo of it yesterday. So, Ponyhenge it is. I hope you'll agree, but of course I'm requesting a review in part because I'm unsure you will!

Hello! Here are some comments I have after reading your article. I found this to be an incredibly interesting topic!

Also, feel free to leave any comments on my peer review on Pennsylvania's racial anti-discrimination constitutional amendment.

  • Citation 4 should be outside the period.
  • "It had belonged to the children of the field’s owners". This should use a non-curly apostrophe (').
  • "It had belonged to the children of the field’s owners, James Pingeon and Elizabeth Graver, before being used in a headless horseman Halloween display then left in the field." This is kind of long; the last part is somewhat difficult to understand. Maybe make this into two sentences?
  • What has been the number of horses added per year?
  • Has there been any known, frequent contributors (or are they all anonymous)?
  • Describe the clothing the married couple was wearing, as it is mentioned in the source article.
  • "By 2015, Ponyhenge had become a recognizable local landmark." Why by 2015; what happened this year?
  • The See Also section's articles should have bullet points.

Thank you so much for being so thorough in your review. I'll be sure to make these changes— which are so obvious in retrospect. Thank you being another set of eyes and I'll be sure to check our your (considerably more significant!) article! Chive Cream Cheese (talk) 21:14, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
