Agnes de Poitou
[edit]Since "de Poitou" means of Poitou, it is far more likely that Agnes de Poitou was named for Poitou, then Poitou being named for her. -- SJK

Shouldn't we add a mention of the fact that an old alternate spelling was Poictou? Poictou redirects to this article. ~2026-37846-32 (talk) 17:19, 13 September 2026 (UTC)
