Requested move: Plymouth Pavilions → Plymouth Arena

[edit]

I would like to propose moving this article from Plymouth Pavilions to Plymouth Arena.

The venue has been officially renamed Plymouth Arena and is now being treated as such by reliable independent sources. The BBC states that “the former Plymouth Pavilions has been renamed the Plymouth Arena…”, clearly indicating that “Plymouth Pavilions” is now the former name and that Plymouth Arena is the current name. Local mainstream coverage in the Plymouth Herald (Plymouth Live) also uses Plymouth Arena as the primary name in reporting on the venue and its events. In addition, the venue has adopted the plymoutharena.com domain as part of the rebrand.

Taken together, this suggests that Plymouth Arena is now the name in common use in reliable sources and that the article title should be updated accordingly, with Plymouth Pavilions retained as the former name in the lead.
