I think this page would benefit greatly by mention some legal/organisational details. While the page mentions "developed and hosted in the EU", that feels like a GDPR sales pitch. For all I can tell from this page, the company could be chinese owned. Or south african. Or american. according to https://plausible.io/imprint the company is

Plausible Insights OÜ, Tartu, Estonia

But the same page is hosted under https://p.deathpenaltyinfo.org/imprint So i guess there is some connection between the organisations.
