Contested deletion

[edit]

Hi, I am Chetan. Thanks for your feedback.

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because we can remove the Licensed part (Platform Engineering Maturity Model and Table) and keep the definitions of Platform Engineering on the page. Currently, the platform engineering page is migrating to Product-family engineering, which is not about platform engineering. Please restore the page so that I can make edits to it. Thank you. --Chetan.p.deshmukh (talk) 06:36, 20 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I agree with you. I was checking the page because I was doing some editing on this page. I was a bit confused so when I had asked my mentor, she gave me a solution for it. But when I wanted to try it out I had just seen that the whole page was speedy deleted. I also ask to restore the page for my editing.- Aspen85 (talk) 14:13, 2 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Issues Banner

[edit]

With the additions of internal links, the edits of @WhyIsNameSoHardOmg- - and the addition of categories by me, is it safe to remove the issues banner?

However, with the edits here, I wonder if it is still useful to have a list of "components" for readers unfamiliar to platform engineering. It could read for example something like this: (borrowing from the list of the previous article versions)

<<Platform engineering uses multiple components to ensure reliability and scalability. These components include configuration management, infrastructure orchestration, environment management, and role-based access control, with deployment management specifically for continuous delivery or continuous deployment.>>
